Week 26 means that we’re half way through the year, which means that we’ve been sharing our meal plans for six months! Thanks you so much to each and every one of you who links up. I love reading, commenting and sharing your meal plans each week, and I definitely am inspired by your choices.
Our Meal Plans for the Week Ahead
The World Cup continues, although this week’s meals have been slightly trickier to plan as the matches aren’t yet all fixed!
Sushi was a big hit with the boys last week. I just picked up a little pack from Aldi to give them a taste, and before I knew it, all the smoked salmon and king prawn was gone!
Saturday: France vs. Portugal – Piri Piri Chicken and Pasteis de Nata
Sunday: Croatia vs. Denmark – Croatian Stuffed Peppers
Monday: Brazil vs. Mexico – Steak with Chimichirri, adapted from this recipe
Tuesday: Colombia vs. ? – Colombian Empanadas
Wednesday: Rest Day – We’ll need a break from South American food, so we’ll have Greek salad with lamb koftas. I can’t remember who suggested this a few weeks ago, but I’m stealing the idea from one of our meal planners!
Thursday: Rest Day – I’m going to leave this free for leftovers or simple dinners, like omelettes.
Friday: I *think* we’re visiting friends, so I’m going to leave this blank for now.
